I have just finished reading Adobe Photoshop CC for Photographers by Martin Evening, published by Focal Press ISBN: 978-1-138-91700-2

A very good book to read and I would highly recommend it, this book has been sitting on my shelf for over two years as I purchased it when studying for my course ‘Context & Narrative’ but didn’t get a chance to read it before beginning my current course ‘Setting the Scene which is film making.  Having completed my work for ‘Setting the Scene’ I felt it was time I read this book in preparation for my next photography course.  Martin Evening is a British photographer who works very closely to Adobe and therefore is probably the best source for instructional literature on this subject.  His book is also supported with an website that offers some instructional videos plus additional PDF text covering subjects such as preparing images for CMYK export for publishing.  The book itself is over 700 pages of very well illustrated information.  This book covers just about everything you need and is a must book for referencing for future Photoshop projects.  There is so much info in this book that it is probably impossible to take it all in but having read it from cover to cover I now have a better idea of what I can do and know where to look for instruction on a particular feature in the future.
